Les Dames D'Escoffier, Philadelphia Chapter, Green Tables Initiuative Les Dames d’Escoffier is the only organization of its kind: a world wide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality. The invitation-only membership, composed of 28 individual chapters across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, is highly diversified and reflects the multifaceted fields of contemporary gastronomy and hospitality. The Green Tables Initiative is an international program that promotes sustainable, local farm practices, and contributes to the development of availability of fresh produce to areas that historically have had no access to healthful foods. Members volunteer in many ways to promote these interests, and they raise funds for use in educating the public about the importance of supporting local farming. Visit them on Facebook.
