Brussels Sprouts in Apple Cider
Ingredients:
3 cups fresh Brussels sprouts
2 slices of smoked bacon
3/4 cup apple cider
2 cloves garlic
Preparation:
Dice bacon. Clean and halve sprouts. Mince garlic.
In medium sauce pan over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp.
Add garlic to pan and sauté for less than a minute.
Reduce heat to medium low, add sprouts and apple cider. The cider should fill about 1/2 inch in bottom of pan.
Cover pan and steam mixture until sprouts are tender.
Remove sprouts from pan using slotted spoon and serve.
