Brussels Sprouts and Crisp Bacon
Ingredients:
4 cups fresh Brussels sprouts
6 slices of smoked bacon cut in small strips
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
Preparation:
Remove the outer leaves from the Brussels sprouts and cut in half or quarters, depending on the size of the heads.
Place the bacon in a skillet over medium heat and fry stirring occasionally until the bacon begins to crisp on the edges.
Add the Brussels sprouts and sauté until tender. Salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately
