Cranberry Muffins

Ingredients:

Muffins:

1 cup raw chopped cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup sour milk
1/4 cup melted margarine

Sour milk:

1 1/3 Tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
add milk to make one cup

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine the chopped cranberries and 1/2 cup sugar and set aside.

Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, and 1/4 cup sugar.

In another bowl combine beaten egg, sour milk, and margarine.

Stir egg mixture into dry mixture. Fold in cranberry mixture.

Pour into muffin cups. Cook 20 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
